Lecturing students at Hansenberg on compliance with relevant environmental legislation, i.e., CITES, EU's Zoo's Directive, presenting relevant questions and discussions on sufficiency and alternative legal measures.
I'm a member of Danish Zoological Society - a non-governmental organisation working with nature conservation. It frequently publishes articles in all aspects of nature conservation. My role is mostly to participate in the projects as well as legal advice and integrating legal aspects in naturen conservation.
I've been granted the title as an observer at the 20th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP20) to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). The CoP will take place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan from 24th November until 5th December 2025.

"Several endangered sharks, rays, and songbirds are now formally protected against illegal hunting and trade by international conventions. However, even though we can dial the legal care up and down, there is a fundamental problem with the rules: animals and nature are still viewed merely as 'things' that humans can own. This is completely out of touch with a modern view of nature, according to a young lawyer and animal lover who attended the UN summit on the subject."
